Cats can do lots of special things;
they bounce around like tiny springs.
And cats can be black, grey, orange or white;
cats have shiny green eyes that glow at night.
They chase birds, mice or rabbits;
cats have lots of their own habits.
Some of our cats that live in our homes,
began as wild cats that used to roam.
CATS like warm places to nap;
my cat sometimes drinks from the tap.
CATS are good at climbing trees;
they scratch themselves when they have fleas.
AND I WISH I HAD 100 OF THESE!!!

Fred rubs against me and Ginger bites my finger.
Fred and Ginger sleep at night
but in the morning they begin to fight.
When I'm asleep the cats are under the bed.
Fred has stripes and Ginger has a heart on her head.

when I'm at school Fred is sitting on my bed.

There's a black cat sleeping by the fire,
Peacefully sleeping on a rug,
The moon shines brightly in the night sky,
It brings little light through the small window,
But the cat is happy, at peace and content,
Slowly rises the sun, gradually she climbs the sky bringing
light to the world,
The cat wakes hearing the birds sweet song,
He watches a mouse run over the floor,
He crouches,
His tail swishes from side to side,
The mouse looks up and gives a small squeak,
But the cat is so strong and the mouse is too weak,
The poor mouse is now no more,
Except for her tail that lays on the floor,
This routine is kept daily,
But the cat's growing old,
He can't keep it up much more,
Though so many tails now lay on the floor,
The winter is cold and the wind brings a chill,
But the cat lays by the fire, he always will,
The fire is now out, but the cat is there still,
The moon may not shine,
And the sun may not rise,
But the cat's always there,
If I look with my eyes.
